The Regent Rollerdrome was located on Albany Road alongside the railway embankment in Butts Mews. It was one of the favourite meeting places in Coventry for young people during its heyday in the 1930s and beyond.

It later became Neal's Ballroom, continuing its role as a social hub for the area, before being destroyed by fire. The building's history reflects the changing leisure habits of Coventry's residents across the decades — from the novelty of roller skating in the 1930s to the dance hall culture that followed.
